Chattanooga left-hander Alberto Bastardo knew he had a no-hitter going in the seventh inning on Monday night, but he wasn't disappointed when he surrendered a double to Mobile's Ed Easley that broke up his bid.
체터누가의 선발투수인 바스타도(Alberto Bastardo)가 7이닝동안 1피안타 2BB(7K)만을 허용하는 올시즌 최고의 피칭을 선보였습니다.

The Dodgers are Bastardo's second organization. He signed with the Orioles as a non-drafted free agent in 2002 and spent a season in the Rookie Appalachian League. He was released by the Orioles after the 2005 season and signed with the Dodgers in January '06. He was a midseason All-Star in the California League last year.
일단 26살의 더블 A선수이기때문에 빅리그에 올라올 가능성은 (상대적으로) 낮다고 보여지네요.

린드블럼이 또 털렸습니다.

I'm really starting to wonder about Lindblom, as his ERA is now 6.05, and his WHIP is 1.82.  As I've already said 100 times this season, he really should be a relief pitcher. I really think the biggest problem is his mentality going into a game and the fact that he knows he has to pace himself instead of going all out for a single inning.

The other big news from this game was that Alfredo Amezaga made his 2010 debut. Playing shortstop, Amezaga went 2 for 2 with a walk and a RBI. If he can prove that he’s healthy, he may find himself in LA at some point this season.

내일 체터누가의 선발인 위드로우(Chris Withrow)에 관한 기사가 체터누가 소식지에 떴는데, 별건 아니고...올시즌 페스트볼 커맨드를 잡는데 애를 먹고 있다고 합니다.

체터누가 투수코치인 Danny Darwin씨에 따르면 위드로우가 아무리 뛰어난 유망주지만, 그래도 어린 선수들이 흔히들 하는 업 & 다운 피칭을 하는 선수중에 한 명이라고 하는군요. 그렇지만, 위드로우는 여전히 (투구를 통해) 지식을 습득하고 있으며, 올바른 방법을 찾아가고 있다고 합니다.

투수 코치에 따르면 체인지업은 1년전과 비교했을때 많이 좋아진 편이라고 합니다. 다만, 커브가 너무 허접하고, 페스트볼 커맨드가 별로라고 하네요. 위드로우 본인은 메카닉이 불일정하다고 하네요.

Withrow has a 1-2 record and a 6.75 earned run average entering tonight's scheduled start in Mobile, which could add to his woes. The 6-foot-3, 202-pounder from Odessa, Texas, is 1-0 with a 3.24 ERA in four starts at AT&T Field, but he's 0-2 with a 15.83 ERA in three road outings.
전에 커쇼님이 알려주셔서 인지하고 있었는데, 위드로우는 올시즌 AT & T 필드에서만 조금 하는 편이고, 집을 떠나면 최악의 투수가 되어버립니다.

일단 자신의 이런 불일정한 투구에 대해 잘 알고 있고, 메카닉과 커맨드 문제를 노출시켰다는 사실 역시 잘 알고 있다고 하는군요.

아론 밀러(Aaron Miller)가 자신의 투구이닝을 서서히 늘리고 있습니다. 오늘 시즌 최고인 7이닝을 투구하면서 4피안타 3실점 1자책 1BB/7K의 성적을 올렸습니다.

Miller lowered his team-leading ERA to 3.12, ninth in the California League, but is still searching for his first victory.

"He pitched well for us," Sixers manager Jeff Carter said. "He definitely gave us a chance to win. He's improved every start. He's learning how to pitch in to hitters well, and his slider is starting to develop into a legitimate pitch."
인랜드의 감독은 밀러가 팀에게 승리할 기회를 여전히 주고 있지만, 타자들이 잘 하지못했다는 식으로 인터뷰를 했네요. 슬라이더가 정말 좋은가 보네요.

Possibly Miller's best start since his 2010 debut, it was also the first time he's allowed less than 2 walks since his initial outing. Command has been a problem for Aaron this season, having walked 18 in 36.1 innings. He's also allowed 4 HR in 8 starts, which isn’t terrible, but not great. However, his strikeout total and ERA are among the best in the league. Oddly enough, he’s faring better against righties (.195 OBA) than lefties (.256 OBA). Miller just needs to focus on throwing more strikes in order to convince Dodgers' brass he's ready for another challenge.

아무튼 커맨드에 문제가 있다고 하는데, 그건 타자들의 리그에서 뛰다보니 그런거라고 생각하고 싶네요. 좌투수가 우타자가에 강점이 있는 것은 분명 좋은거 같습니다. 좌타자 상대 피안타율이 상대적으로 높을뿐이지, 효율적이다라고 말 할 수 있는 수준이네요.

Making room for Amezaga was Anthony Hatch, who was sent down to high Single-A Inland Empire after hitting .208 in 30 Double-A games.

Prior to the game, the Dodgers released outfielder Bridger Hunt. A ninth-round pick by the Dodgers in 2006, Hunt appeared in 187 games with the 66ers the past two seasons, hitting .296 and .292, respectively. But the 24-year-old was struggling this season, hitting just .170 in 94 at-bats.

Anthony Hatch was transferred from Double-A Chattanooga to take Hunt's roster spot. A former Blue Jays farmhand, Hatch got the start at third base, batted cleanup and went 1 for 4 in his California League debut.

Johnson said that infielder Adam Younger, who was struck in the face with a pitch in Sunday's loss, did not suffer from a concussion or a broken bone.
오늘 아메자가가 체터누가에 배치되면서 로스터의 변경이 있었습니다. 헤치(Anthony Hatch)가 인랜드로 강등되었고, 인랜드에 있었던 헌트(Bridger Hunt)가 방출되었습니다. 처음에 헌트라는 이름만 보고서 작년에 계약한 그 케네디언인지 알았는데 아니더군요. 헤치는 제작년 12월에 토론토로부터 마이너 룰 5 드레프트로 데려온 것으로 기억되네요.
