40인 로스터에 맞춰 예상 콜업 명단

곧있으면 9월입니다. 현지시간으로 9월 1일은 애리조나와의 홈경기 2차전이구요. 이날부터 모든 구단은 25인 로스터에서 40인 로스터로 확장됩니다.

The Albuquerque Journal에서 다저스로 콜업될 예상명단을 올렸는데, 이거 볼려면 돈내야하더군요-0- 이 신문이 나름 지역에서는 꽤나 큰 모양입니다. 원문은 아닐지라도 엘버커키 팬 블로그에 자신의 코맨트를 추가해 놨더군요. bing이라는 좋은 포털사이트가 있어서 쉽사리 구하긴 했습니다.

The Albuquerque Journal had an article this morning about how September call ups would effect the Isotopes. I have been ask this question a lot recently, and the other day during the rain delay a few of us regulars at the park tried to figure out who would be called up.

One thing I learned this year with the Dodgers is don't try and guess who is going to be called up because the Dodgers are thinking a whole different thing. That's good.

The Journal stated in its article that a third catcher would be called up. I am pretty sure that means A. J. Ellis will be called up and then we will get Lucas May in Albuquerque. Ellis has a 14 game hitting streak right now and he deserves to move up. Don't expect home runs from Ellis he has yet to hit one this year, but he hits for average he has done that since college. I respect him for that. He is not going out there trying to hit a bomb but just trying to move a runner over or just get on base.
일단 다저스는 팀의 3번째 포수부터 올릴려고 하겠죠. 마틴이 올시즌도 결국은 많은 이닝을 소화함으로써 최근에 체력적인 얘기가 블로거들사이에서 대두되고 있는데, 경기가 조기에 결정나거나 연장전에 돌입할 경우 엘리스를 유용하게 쓸 수 있지않을까 싶습니다.
하지만, 엘버커키입장에서도 팀의 포수로 엘리스가 유일한 존재이기때문에 트리플 A 남은 스케쥴(1주일)을 위해 더블 A에서 뛰고 있는 메이의 콜업도 가능할 것으로 예측하고 있다고 합니다.

엘리스의 경우는 올시즌 마틴보다 더 심한 케이스인데, 아이서톱스 구장을 홈으로쓰면서 홈런이 없습니다. 다만 여전히 좋은 컨택과 선구안(59BB/44K)를 기록하고 있기때문에 타격에 관해 장타력외에는 괜찮습니다.

Lets start with pitching. There are four active pitchers on the Isotopes roster that are on the 40 man roster. They are Scott Elbert, Brent Leach, Eric Stults and Cory Wade. That doesn't include Will Ohman who is with the Isotopes on a Rehab assignment, and Travis Schlichting who is on the Isotopes DL with Back problems.
엘버커키 투수진에서 4명(Scott Elbert, Brent Leach, Eric Stults and Cory Wade)이 40인 로스터에 포함되어있고, 리헵 중인 오만도 있습니다. 이들 5명 모두 콜업되지 않을까 싶습니다. 하지만 달리 생각하면 아직 엘버커키의 스케쥴이 남은 상황에서 팀의 선발 투수 2명을 빼앗기면 그들도 남을 시즌을 치뤄야하고, 플옵진출가능성(현재 PCL리그 2위 승률팀)도 아주 높은지라 엘버트는 헤거의 로또로 인해 그냥 머물지 않을까 싶습니다. 그런뜻에서 3명씩이나 좌완릴리프가 필요없는거 같으니 리치도 제외될성 싶네요. 더군다나 오만은 확실히 9월에 올린다고 했으니 리치까지 간다면 왼손릴리프가 4명....필요없는 인원이죠.

Next is catching. The only catcher with the Isotopes is A J Ellis. Lucas May is also on the forty man roster he is with the Double-A affiliate. I may be a homer but I think A J has worked hard and deserves the call up.

The infield only has two player on the 40 man roster Blake Dewitt and Chin-Lung Hu. Dewitt has been back and fourth all season. Hu has not been called up at all this season, but is hitting .371 in his last ten games.
내야수 후보는 드윗과 후친렁이 있는데, 드윗만 콜업될듯합니다.

The outfield has only two player with the Isotopes Jason Repko and Jaimie Hoffmann. Repko alos is hot right now hitting .394 in his last ten games. Jason is also plays good defense. He will run through a wall for the ball and that goes a long way with me.
외야수에서는 렙코와 호프만이 있는데 최근 렙코가 잘친다할지라도 이미 우리들의 기대를 벗어난 선수이기때문에 올리면 돈 아까울듯....5타수 무안타 5K라는 기록이 생길지도 모르니...

I don't know what is in the Dodgers plans for September, but there are a lot of great players in Albuquerque and if they get called up we will miss them but it is all about the Dodgers and being a Dodger fan it will be a little bit sweeter if they go into the post season with players we have watched grow all season long.

P.S. 설마 최향남은 9월에 콜업안됩니까...하는 댓글 달리지는 않겠죠?
미리 얘기하지만, 최향남은 40인 로스터에 포함되어있는 선수가 아니기때문에 그가 9월에 콜업될려면 40인 로스터에 먼저 들어와야하는데, 현재 다저스는 40인 로스터가 꽉 채워져있기때문에 최향남 선수가 들어오려면 누군가를 40인로스터에서 제외하고 자신이 들어가야하기때문에 현실적으로 어렵죠. 한국의 민 모 기자가 말하는 거는 다 페이지뷰때문이니 그런 글들은 스킵해도 좋으실 겁니다.
