A 2005 draftee, late-blooming corner outfielder Scott Van Slyke made his big league debut this season at age 26 but struggled mightily (.167/.196/.315) in 57 plate appearances with the Dodgers. After a demotion to Triple-A Albuquerque, he resumed his offensive assault on the Pacific Coast League, hitting .333/.481/.810 this week with three home runs and six walks .

Jim Shonerd: As far as this week goes, Castellanos was just 3-for-19. You're right that he's had a huge year though, and he deserves extra credit for being more productive on the road (.696 SLG) than at the hitters' paradise in Albuquerque (.553). He's a solid prospect with the bat and across the board, but none of his tools are loud, despite his numbers this year.

카스텔라노스의 경우 올해 뛰어난 공격성적을 보여주고 있고 전반적으로 준수한 툴을 갖고 있지만 확실하게 눈을 끌만한 툴이 부족하다는 이야기군요. 일단 오늘 콜업이 되었습니다. 부실한 다저스 공격력에 도움을 줄 수 있을지...
