체터누가 우승할 수있을까?

If the Chattanooga Lookouts win the North Division second-half title, team owner Frank Burke promises to have a new look.

"I'm going to let them shave my head," said Burke, who has owned the Lookouts since 1995.

Burke made the same pledge the past couple of seasons but never got in danger of getting scalped. The risk is greater this summer, as the Lookouts (26-24) trail the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx (27-23) by a game with 20 games remaining.

The Tennessee Smokies (25-25) are lurking as well after two straight wins over Jacksonville.

Chattanooga begins a five-game series tonight at Tennessee after losing its last four at West Tenn. The Lookouts had won four series in a row, including one against the Suns (33-17), before their current slide.

"It was nice to beat a team like Jacksonville three out of five times, even though we stole the first two," Lookouts manager John Valentin said. "We're pretty confident that if we play a solid ball game on both sides that we're going to win."

Whoever wins the North will be heavily favored in the divisional series against first-half champion Huntsville, which has struggled this half. Chattanooga is in its first year of affiliation with the Los Angeles Dodgers and last won the Southern League in 1988, its first of a 21-year partnership with the Cincinnati Reds.

밑에 오션님이 체터누가 얘기를 해서 생각났는데, 여전히 타격감을 회복하지 못하는 람보가 최근에 자주 스타팅에서 제외되는 모습을 보여주고 있습니다. 두달 연속 14%대였던 삼진율도 이달에 21%로 상승하였으며 볼넷도 많이 줄어들었습니다. 여전히 장타력부분(2루타는 리그 3위인 35개)은 괜찮은데 이 좌타자가 우투수상대로 삽질의 연속을 하고 있습니다.

뭐가 꺼꾸로 되어야 정상이라고 생각되는 저 수치를 어떻게 표현해야할지 모르겠네요.

대부분의 언론에서는 2011년에 자연스레 차베스라빈의 LF가 될거라고 생각했는데, 일단 내년에 여기에서 다시 재수하지 않을까 싶습니다. 자신 스스로의 스텟만 평균적이고 지속적으로 올린다면 타자들에게 뻥튀기되는 PCL은 스킵해도 된다고 생각하기에...
