다저스의 개막 로스터에 합류한 25인의 선수들이 어떻게 다저스 유니폼을 입었는지 한번 찾아 봤습니다. 블로그를 시작한지 상당한 시간이 되니 당시 포스팅을 찾을 수가 있네요. 예전 블로그 내용까지 있었다면 클래이튼 커쇼 지명 당시 블로그 포스팅도 볼 수 있었을텐데...아쉽네요.

많은 전문가들 (특히 BA)은 50만달러짜리 선수를 4200만달러나 주고 영입했다고 비웃던 시절의 글입니다. 그만큼 야시엘 푸이그에 대해서 알려진 것이 없었다고 봐야 할듯 싶습니다. 이후에 BA는 야시엘 푸이그 빠순이가 됩니다.ㅎㅎ

슈퍼 스타 아버지를 둔 스캇 밴 슬라이크지만 다저스 팜에서의 평가는 좋지 못했습니다. 아무래도 운동능력이 떨어졌기 때문이었을것 같습니다. 이렇게 메이저리그 로스터에 안정적으로 포함이 될 수 있는 선수로 성장한 것은 본인의 노력이라고 할 수 있을것 같습니다. 당시에 비슷한 시점에 계약은 맺은 스티브 존슨은 볼티모어에서 잠시 반짝 하더니..거의 커리어를 마감하는 모양입니다.

푸른색으로 표시된 팜 출신 선수들을 보면 알수 있듯이 최소한 4년은 저렴하게 기용할 수 있기 때문에 다저스가 팜 전력 강화를 위해서 최근에 많은 노력을 하고 있습니다. 선수뿐만 아니라 팬들의 충성심도 트래이드나 FA를 통해서 영입된 선수들에 비해서 더 큰 편입니다.
