Dodgers willing to sell off Eric Stults?

Japanese baseball blogs here and here are linking to stories that indicate the Chiba Lotte Marines are interested in purchasing the contract of Dodgers left-hander Eric Stults.

Stults, who turns 30 next week, went 4-3 in 10 starts for the Dodgers last season, including a shutout. Chiba Lotte reportedly thinks he can pitch in their rotation.

Sanspo via Yahoo! Japan is saying that the Chiba Lotte Marines have added Dodgers lefty Eric Stults to their shopping list. Based on the one game I saw Stults pitch, a dominant performance against the Giants, I thought he was a pretty good prospect. I didn’t realize he was 29.

The Chiba Lotte Marines are keeping their eye on 29-year-old, left-handed pitcher Eric Stults.

The Marines would be looking for Stults to provide some help in their rotation.

The team is also in the process of working out a deal with Bill Murphy, but they feel he's better suited to a bullpen role.

The Marines will likely wait to see what the Dodgers do with Stults before making any final decisions.

I probably should have also mentioned that the team is guessing it'll take close to 100M yen to get him to sign with the team.

아직 40인로스터에 있는 에릭 스털츠(Eric Stults)를 다저스가 일본프로야구팀인 지바 롯데 말린스에게 팔려는 모양입니다. 40인 로스터에 포함되어있는 선수이기때문에 지바 롯데는 이적료를 줘야하는데 100만 엔정도 예상될거라고 하네요. 환률계산이 맞나 모르겠는데, 대충 11500달러 정도네요.

이젠 완전히 내년 오프닝데이에 5선발로 굳어진 맥도날드보단 스털츠가 더 좋다고 생각하는데, 이 선수도 여지없이 필려는 모양입니다.

맥코티...차라리 구단을 팔아라...

오늘 일련의 사태에 대해 갑자기 다저스에 대한 정나미가 떨어질려고 하네요-_-;;
