올만에 다저스관련 루머

In an interview with Venezuelan newspaper Diario Panorama, free-agent shortstop Marco Scutaro said that his peferred landing spots this offseason are the Red Sox and Dodgers, because that would give him a good shot at playing in the postseason. Scutaro said he's also received interest from the Rangers and Mariners.

The Red Sox have inquired about Scutaro as a shortstop, the Dodgers have talked to him about playing second base, and the Rangers and Mariners have also contacted him. Some teams have asked if he'd be open to playing third. Scutaro prefers to play short or second base, and hasn't completely ruled out a return to the Blue Jays.

Scutaro said no teams have presented him with formal offers, but he expects to receive multi-year proposals after teams see if Toronto offers him arbitration before Tuesday's deadline. Even with the recent signings of shortstops Alex Gonzalez and John McDonald, the Jays plan on offering arbitration to potentially secure two compensatory Draft picks.

"We know that Toronto decided to sign Alex," Scutaro said, "and there is still the possibility that I could accept arbitration and be with them for a year, but that's not the idea. The idea is to get a contract of at least two years."
밑에 커쇼님이 잠깐 말씀하셨는데, 마르코 스쿠타로(Marco Scutaro)는 자신이 가고싶은 팀으로 다저스와 보스턴을 꼽았습니다. 일단 돈이 없는 상황에서 과연 콜레티가 접근했는지는 의문인데, 멀티계약을 원하는 그와 다저스의 상황은 현재로는 너무 먼 얘기(long-short)같습니다. 만약 그가 다저스와 2년계약에 합의한다면 전 다저스가 1라운드를 포기할 거같다는 생각이 듭니다. 3년계약은 무리일거 같고....

물론 그럴경우에는 다저스가 플랑코(Placido Polanco)에게 접근할수도 있다는 조건이 성립될 수도 있겠죠.

Dodgers General Manager Ned Colletti is working with similar restrictions.

The Dodgers started last season with a payroll of around $100 million, but that figure could decrease next season.

While the salaries of Jason Schmidt ($12 million), Randy Wolf ($8 million) and Orlando Hudson ($8 million) are expected to be removed from the books, a group of arbitration-eligible players that includes Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier, Chad Billingsley, Russell Martin, James Loney, Jonathan Broxton, George Sherrill and Hong-Chih Kuo are expected to earn raises totaling some $20 million.

The soaring salaries of the Dodgers' young players will prevent Colletti from spending the kind of money he did heading into last season, when he signed Manny Ramirez to a two-year, $45-million deal and Rafael Furcal to a three-year, $30-million contract.

Several agents said they aren't expecting the Dodgers to be serious players in the free-agent market, particularly with ownership in the midst of divorce proceedings.

The Dodgers could do what they did a season ago to fill out their roster -- that is, wait until late winter or early spring and pounce on players who misread the market. The wait-and-see method landed them Wolf and Hudson at bargain prices.

Acquiring Halladay appears to be a longshot at this point, as Colletti has dismissed the idea of parting with a current member of the rotation in a trade.

The Dodgers are expected to explore the possibility of dealing fourth outfielder Juan Pierre for an overpaid back-of-the-rotation pitcher in a trade that would essentially amount to a swap of bad contracts. Pierre is owed $18.5 million over the next two seasons.
오늘 LAtimes에 엔젤스와 묶어서 짦막한 기사가 나왔는데, 다저스꺼만 퍼왔습니다. 대충 중심적인 이야기는 두 팀다 돈이 없어서 오프시즌에 대형 FA나 트레이드가 (상대적으로) 힘들다는 얘기입니다.

다저스는 이번에도 피에르 트레이드를 고려중이며 그 대상은 피에르처럼 잘못된 계약자들끼리의 트레이드(swap of bad contracts)를 통해 하위선발을 데려올 가능성도 있다고 하네요.

그리고 저번에 콜레티가 말했듯이 선발강화를 위해 선발을 내주는 일은 없을거라고 하는군요.

그러면서 작년에 울프나 헛슨을 데려올때처럼 시장의 상황을 관망하다가 마지너블계약으로 데려올 수도 있다고 합니다.
현재론 울프나 헛슨에게 한 계약의 형태일 가능성이 아주 높게 되었습니다.
지금 상황(두바이)때문에 미국 부동산이 다시 침체기로 빠질 수도 있다고 하네요. 이럴경우 가장 피해를 많이 받는 사람은 뭐 말안해도 다들 아실겁니다. 굳이 부동산만이 아니라 모라토리움으로 인해 작년오프시즌만큼의 한파가 찾아올 수도 있습니다. 더더욱 빅네임과의 계약이나 트레이드는 어렵게 될 수 있죠.

Hiroshima’s final offseason acquisition target is Giancarlo Alvarado, who pitched with the Los Angeles Dodgers AAA team last season with a 13-10 record with a 3.49 ERA. Alvardo was also a member of the Puerto Rico WBC team in the previous tournament. Hiroshima likes Alvardo’s flexibility to both start and relieve.

현재 프에르토리코 윈터리그에서 뛰고 있는데 성적은 별로 좋질 못합니다. 이 선수는 경기당 2.9개의 볼넷을 내줬는데, 이번 윈터리그에선 이닝당 하나씩의 볼넷을 내주고 있네요. 일본야구에서 이런 수치는 결코 좋질 못할텐데...
뭐 일단 마이너 FA인 알바라도이기때문에 간다면 다저스와 무관한 일이니 히로시마 구단에서 알아서 하겠죠.
