다저스타디움에서의 기자회견

Arrived at Dodger Stadium this afternoon for the Press Conferences of Joe Torre and Ned Colletti. Both spoke candidly about several subjects. Before going down to the clubhouse, I stopped at the Top of the Park. Hiroki Kuroda was shopping Kuroda shirts and jerseys. I said "Buying for friends and family?" He responded "Yes, Yes" After the shopping spree, he had his own little press conference with the Japanese media on Top Deck. The japanese media always come in full force. You can barely see Kuroda. You can click all the pictures.
현지에서 vinscullyismyhomeboy의 블로거 주인이 다저스타디움의 마지막 기자회견장을 방문하고 자신의 블로그에다가 글을 올려놨는데 퍼왔습니다. 이 분 나름 영향력이 있나봅니다.

기자회견장에 가기전에 구로다를 만났는데, 선물을 잔뜩 샀나봅니다. 곧 일본으로 돌아가겠죠. 온천욕같은거 하면서 제발 내년엔 부상당하지않았음 하네요. 은근 인저리프론같네요. 일본 기자들 틈바구니에 쌓여있네요. 제 기억이 맞다면 일본인 빅리거중에 올시즌 가장 오랫동안 야구를 한 선수가 아닐까 싶네요.

Went down stairs. The only players from the Roster that I saw were Andre Ethier, Ramon Troncoso and Jon Garland. Ethier said it was special being part of the playoffs. He thinks that the Dodgers do have a couple of candidates to be the Ace of the team. He did watch the Angels/Yankees game last night and noticed John Lackey. Will welcome a new pitcher here to help the team if the Dodgers can find anyone.
오늘 다저스타디움을 방문한 선수가 극히 일부분이네요. 이띠어와 트론코소, 갈랜드가 참석했다는군요. 밑에 한 얘기지만 내부에 에이스가 될만한 선수가 2명 있다네요. 그리고 어제 ALCS경기를 보면서 렉키를 언급했습니다. 뭐....계약해달라는 소리겠죠.

Ethier did show off a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne. It was a gift by teammate Doug Mientkiewicz to celebrate his first 100 RBI Season. How cool is that? Check out the pix :

Then had a nice conversation with L.A. Times T.J. Simers :

I also talked to Manny Mota. He is very proud of this team and says they will be very good for many seasons. Mota says he will spend his off-season in the Dominican Republic.
매니 모타 코치는 오프시즌을 도미니칸 공화국에서 보낸다고 하네요. 팀이 자랑스럽다네요.

Torre spoke to the media first.

He will be back next season. Hasn't thought about beyond 2010 Right now just spend time with family. Did watch the Yankees/Angels game from last night. Is not picking any team to win. Does admire Phillies manager Charlie Manuel. Says he's a great man. They have a good team.
토레가 먼저 기자들의 질문에 대답을 했습니다. 내년에 계약이 되어있기때문에 당근 돌아온다고 하구요. 일단은 가족들과 시간을 보낸다고 합니다. 이띠어와 마찬가지로 어제 경기를 봤지만, 누가 이길지에 대해서는 노코맨트 했습니다. 그 담은 패스.....가슴아프니

Someone asked him if Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier is now the nucleaus of this team. He responded that they are but so is Russell Martin and James Loney. Believes Brad Ausmus was a great help for Martin. Thinks he helped a great deal.
캠프와 이띠어 외에 마틴과 로니도 다저스의 중심이라고 하네요. 올해 백업역할을 했던 어스무스는 마틴을 엄청 잘 도와줬다고 합니다. 진짜 오션님의 바람대로 어스무스와 재계약할지도 모르겠네요. 엘리스와 메이를 진짜 어떻게 해야할거 같습니다.

로드가 이제 혼자서 모든걸 책임질려는 생각을 버린거 같다면서 응원하네요.

On Scott Elbert "Maybe reliever at this point, not sure"
스캇 엘버트에 대해서는 확신할 순없지만 일단은 릴리프라고 하네요. 엘버트에 대해서는 토레보다는 다저스구단이 직접 확실한 선을 그을 필요가 있어보입니다. 마이너에서는 선발투수, 빅리그에서는 원포인트 릴리프....너무 이율배반적이라는 생각이 드네요. 물론 마이너에서 올라온 선수의 상황을 봐주는 곳이 빅리그 클럽은 아닐지라도 실험적으로나마 시도라도 해봤어야하지 않나 싶구요. 시즌중에 엘버트가 선발로 등판할번 했던 적이 한 번 있었는데, 지금생각해도 아쉽네요.

On Chad Billingsley "He needs to get mind set back, like 1st half"
빌링슬리에 대해서는 분명 전반기처럼 좋아질 필요가 있다네요. 마음가짐을 비롯한 자신감도 기르고, 추울땐 밖에 나가지 말고....

On Manny Ramirez "I want him from the start. Hopefully he starts from scratch. Needs to be at Spring Training"
스프링 캠프때부터 하라고 하네요. 일단 다이아몬드 렁의 트위터에 매니가 옵트조항을 발동할 것이란 루머는 났는데, 추가적인 소식이 안들려오니 그냥 뜬구름잡는 소리같습니다. 오늘 ESPN의 유료루머에 뭔 소리가 있긴하던데...유료라서 보질못하네요.

On Future 2nd Baseman "We can look from within" "We got lucky this year with Orlando Hudson, he wore out in the 2nd half"
2루수에 대해서는 내부에서 수혈한다고 합니다. 일단 후보군으로는 드윗 & 후친렁 & 이반 데 헤 수스가 있겠죠. 헛슨은 후반기에 별로였다고 하는데...성적을 찾아보면 것도 아닌거 같습니다. 들쑥날쑥한 상황에서 전반기만큼 해줬습니다....성적만 본다면

Colletti Press Conference :

Colletti says it's a small market to look for a Pitcher. He believes Billingsley and Kershaw might become the future Ace of the team. He also doesn't think the drama between Frank and Jamie McCourt will affect the business side. Will be having meetings with Torre and discussing options. Does believe Pitching depth and a second baseman are top priorities. When asked if he is interested in Japanese High School prospect Yusei Kikuchi, he smiled and said "Perhaps" Didn't want to talk about it.
일단 FA시장에서 선발투수의 상황은 별로 안좋다고 하네요. 이띠어와 비슷한 소리로 빌링과 커쇼가 에이스가 될 거라고 하네요. 구단주 부부간의 싸움은 다저스에겐 별로 영향을 미치지 않을꺼라고...벌써 미친거 같은데요? 일단은 다저스의 오프시즌 구매아이템은 선발투수와 2루수가 우선적이라고 합니다. 키큐치 류세이에 대해서 누가 질문했나봅니다. "Perhaps"라고 말하고 추가적인 말은 하지 않은 모양입니다. 이건 지켜봐야겠습니다. 지푸라기라도 잡고 싶네요. 물론 머니게임이 된다면 필패겠죠.
