The Dodgers seemed destined to lose their second straight game to a dominant Phillies' starter.  Jamie Moyer threw seven solid innings, and left giving up only two runs on four hits.  However, if this Dodger team has taught us anything, its that they never give up until that 27th out is recorded, as the Phillies learned the hard way in a 4-3 Dodger win.

Closer Brad Lidge got the first two batters of the ninth, but that final out was quite elusive.  He got two strikes on each of the next three batters, but here's what they did:

• Casey Blake: single to LF
• James Loney:  walk
• Russell Martin:  grounder to 3B, booted by Pedro Feliz

That loaded the bases for Andre Ethier, who has shown signs of life in June, hitting three extra base hits in four games entering tonight.  Ethier drove the first pitch he saw into right field, out of the reach of fill-in outfielder Eric Bruntlett, allowing two runs to score, giving the Dodgers another walk-off win.

Eric Milton pitched decently enough in his 4.1 innings, but was done in by two botched double plays.  In the third inning, a potential 3-6-1 inning-ending double play was undone when Milton failed to cover first base, allowing the first run of the game to score.  In the fourth, a double play grounder to Orlando Hudson was booted, and Chase Utley later followed with a two-out, two-run double.
밀턴 본인도 보이지않는 실책으로 실점을 했고, 헛슨도 주자없이 2사 상황이 될 수있는 타구를 놓쳐서 무사 1,2루를 만드는등 전체적으로 수비들이 도움을 많이 못주는 경기였지만, 오늘 나온 투수 대부분이 좋은 활약을 펼쳤습니다. 최근 LA지역 언론에서 다저스의 릴리프가 과부화상태라고 걱정이 태산인데...낼 구로다가 효율적인 투구를 해줬으면 하네요.

The Dodger relief corps was strong tonight, with Guillermo Mota, Brent Leach, Ramon Troncoso, and Jonathan Broxton providing 4.2 innings of scoreless relief.  Mota has not allowed a run in his last nine innings.

Broxton, who has yet to allow a run at Dodger Stadium this season, got his sixth win of the season, putting him in a tie for sixth place among all National League hurlers.  He allowed a hit to the right-handed Jayson Werth, but struck out all three lefthanders he faced.

선발투수가 잘 던질때 미리 타선이 도움을 줬더라면 세이브이거나 아니거나 였을건데...

The Dodgers are 13-5 in one-run games this season, including 10-1 at home.
다저스가 잘나가는 또 하나의 이유는 1점차 승부에서 좋은 승률을 기록하고 있다는 점인데, 올시즌 13-5라는군요. 홈에서 10-1을 포함해서...그럼 원정에서는 2-4라는거네요. 원정만 분발하자..

Claudio Vargas pitched two innings for Class A Inland Empire Friday night, allowing a home run in two innings, recording his outs via five groundouts and a strikeout.
바르가스의 두 번째 리헵을 했는데, 1회에는 유격수 땅볼 - 삼진 - 유격수 땅볼로 잘 막았고, 2회에 선두타자였던 Colt Morton에게 홈런을 맞았습니다.
해서 총 2이닝동안 1피안타 1실점을 기록하게되었더군요.
첫 리헵에서는 1이닝을 던졌고 사흘만에 나왔으니 이젠 5일후쯤 나올려나 싶네요.

Outfielder Xavier Paul, who has been on the disabled list since May 22 with a staph infection, took batting practice for the first time since the infection on Friday. Dodgers manager Joe Torre said Paul will continue to work out with the team before going on a rehab assignment in the near future.
얼마전에 퇴원한 재비어 폴의 경우는 글렌데일로 가는게 아니군요.
일단 팀과 함께 훈련을 하다가 리헵을 할거라고 하는군요.
훈련해서 몸 만들고 리헵해서 메이저 올라올때쯤이면 매니의 복귀날이 다가올텐데....운도 없다.

오늘 칙이 잘 던졌음에도 불구하고 팀은 조시 벨의 투런 홈런만을 기록하면서 패전처리되었네요.

오늘 Great Lakes Loons의 2루수인 제이미 페드로자(Jaime Pedroza)가 사이클링 히트를 기록했는데....이 선수 작년에 상위 싱글 A에서 뛰다가 올시즌 강등된 리그에서 뛰고 있네요-0-
이것도 잘한건가???
현재 61삼진당하고 있는데 이 기세면 작년의 삼진(120개)갯수를 뛰어넘겠네요.....get out!

P.S. 오늘 시구는 저 사진에서 토레와 대화를 하고있는 LA 레이커스의 샤샤 브야치치(Sasha Vujacic)가 했네요. 그닥 임펙트없는 선수가 중요한 경기앞에서 시구하네요. 이 선수만 보면 코트위에서 실수하다가 들어와서 코비에게 먼 소리듣는거 밖에 생각안난다는....ㅋ
