6연승...and

The Dodgers battled back with four runs in the bottom of the 7th to take a four run lead with Kuo/Broxton lined up to bring it home. Unlike last year when Kuo was automatic, for the 2nd game in a row he didn't have it,  and by the time he exited the bases were juiced with only one out.  On Wednesday Night Joe Torre showed he was not afraid to use his closer outside of the box if the situation called for it, so with the bases loaded with one out in the 8th inning he went to Big John Broxton and the results were electrifying. Broxton struck out both Rockies in the eighth to end the threat and followed that up with two more strikeouts in the ninth to preserve the hard fought victory and earn a five out save.
토레는 오늘 그를 콜업(call up the bullpen)할때도 셋업맨으로 쓸 그에게 의심이 없었다. 작년과 달리 쿼홍치는 2게임 연속으로 좋지않은 투구를 했다.

Randy Wolf gave up three quick runs in the 1st inning and then shut down the Rockies on only one hit until Mota took over for him in the seventh. Mota did his job in the seventh and then the offense got off the deck in the bottom of the 7th highlighted by a game winning single from Mark Loretta. The innings started off with Frucal lining a single up the middle followed by a Hudson walk. Manny then ripped a hot shot just past the reach of the 2nd baseman bringing in the first Dodger run. Kemp then followed with a force out plating Hudson with the second run. Andre Ethier then came up and he was due after a tough three at bats against De Le Rosa. He drove an Alan Embree pitch into the left field gap and Kemp beat the throw home to tie the game. After Martin took a called 3rd strike, Loretta blooped his single into left field and the Dodgers had the lead for the 1st time. Broxton made sure that lead stood up with some Gagne like closer work.
울프는 오늘 충격적인 1회에 좋지않은 투구를 했지만, 그 이후로는 괜찮았고, 록키스가 오늘 친 6개의 안타중 1회에만 3개가 나왔고 나머지 8이닝동안 울프와 다저스 릴리프진들을 상대로 단지 3개의 안타만을 때려냈다.
불안하지만 모타는 살아나고 있는 느낌을 보여주었으며, 오늘 로레타의 선발 출격은 토레의 사소한 배려심(다저스의 포지션 플레이어중에서 유일하게 선발 출전을 하지 않아서 오늘 로니를 day off시켰다고 합니다)때문이었고, 그 기대에 충분히 보답해주었다.

The Dodgers are still undefeated at home and thanks to a six game winning streak share 1st place with the suprising Padres who staged their own unlikely comeback against the World Champions. During the winning streak Manny has been held in check so the rest of the lineup has been chipping in to make sure the runs keep flowing.
아직 다저스는 겨우 4게임뿐이지만 홈에서 패하지 않았으며, 연승을 6으로 늘렸다.
이제 매니만 살아나면 더 바랄게 없를 것이다.

By the way, the win was the 2,159th for Torre, moving him past Bucky Harris and into sixth place on the all-time list. He is now 35 shy of one Mr. George Anderson of Thousand Oaks (better known as Sparky) for fifth place on that list.
오늘 토레의 승리는 정규시즌 2159승이며 이는 이전 통산 감독 승수에서 6위에 랭크되어있었던 버키 헤리스(Bucky Harris, 통산 2157승)를 7위로 밀어내는 기록이었으며, 통산 5위에 랭크되어있는 감독은 '스파키'로 더 많이 알려져있는 조지 앤더슨(George Anderson, 통산 2194승)이다.

내일은 전국방송으로 알고 있는데, 몇일 전에 제가 잘못 전해드린 내용이 있어 수정합니다.
내일 경기는 동부시간 기준으로 오후 3시 40분에 펼쳐지며, 그냥 포토데이라고 하네요.

NBA 플옵이 내일 시작되지만, LA기반의 레이커스는 현지시간 일요일 서부 컨퍼런스 8번 시드인 유타 재즈를 상대로 경기를 갇고 그 날의 경기는 ET 3시 pm에 열립니다.
동일하게 현지시간 일요일에 펼쳐지는 록키스와의 시리즈 마지막 경기는 ET 4시 10분 pm에 열리고, 대략 농구가 2시간가량 진행되기에 아마 그때 초반에는 관중이 없지 않을까 싶네요.

오늘 loons의 투수진은 총 16개의 삼진을 잡으면서 디백스의 마이너팀인 South Bend를 바보로 만들었습니다. 마틴의 데뷔 첫 두 경기는 합격점이지만, 아까 말했듯이 첫 경기보다는 롤러코스터를 타는 느낌이었습니다. 제구가 잘되면 삼자범퇴로 선방하지만, 제구가 안될때는 볼넷과 몸에 맞는 공을 허용하면서 스스로 위기를 불러들였습니다.

체터누가의 칙이 두 번째 선발등판했는데, 첫 번째보다는 많이 좋아진 모습을 보였습니다. 특히 볼넷이 하나도 없으면서 삼진을 9개나 잡은게 고무적이네요.

타선에서는 더블 A에서 첫 홈런을 기록한 3루 유망주 조쉬 벨(Joshua Bell)이 시즌 초반(지금도 초반이지만)과 달리 서서히 리그에 적응하는 모습을 보여주고 있습니다.
