Right-hander Justin Miller has agreed to a minor-league contract with the Dodgers, according to a source with knowledge of the situation who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The deal includes an invitation to spring training.

A 32-year-old, heavily tattooed journeyman who has played for three teams over six seasons, Miller was 3-3 with a 3.18 earned-run average in 44 appearances for the San Francisco Giants last season. The Torrance native had a 1.83 ERA in 39 appearances through Aug. 20.

Miller, who shouldn't be confused with the Dodgers pitching prospect with the same name, has a career record of 24-14 with a 4.84 ERA.

If Miller makes the Dodgers' major-league roster, he will earn a base salary of $850,000 and can make an additional $50,000 in incentives.

개인적으로 만족할만한 딜인거 같습니다. 아얄라도 부상을 당한것으로 알고있는데, 둘 중 비교하면 밀러가 더 좋을거 같네요.

Update: Miller had arthroscopic surgery in October for bone spurs. It was not expected to affect his readiness for Spring Training.

Luna, 29, batted .351/.414/.610 in 313 at-bats for the Dodgers' Triple-A club in Las Vegas last season. If only he kept himself in better shape, he'd be in the middle of a fine career as a utilityman. As is, he's too poor of an infielder to be of real use.

The Angels signed left-hander Travis Chick and outfielder Cory Aldridge to minor league contracts that include an invitation to spring training. Both are likely to play for the Angels' triple-A Salt Lake affiliate.Chick, 25, went 8-7 with a 4.22 earned-run average for the Dodgers' double-A Chattanooga affiliate last season. He has pitched in three major league games -- as a reliever for the Seattle Mariners three years ago -- and he has been traded for Ismael Valdez, Joe Randa and Eddie Guardado in a pro career that started in 2002.

The 30-year-old Redman, brother of former Major Leaguer Tike Redman, last played in the Major Leagues in 2003 with the Mets. He'd been in Seattle's farm system the past three years.

찾아보니 레드먼은 랩코와 드레프트동기더군요. 빅리그생활은 2003년에 잠깐하고 지금껏 메츠와 시애틀에서 AA와 AAA를 전전했습니다. 올해 PCL 타코마에서 21HR를 기록했는데, 믿을 존재는 아니네요. 미치 존스의 대체자쯤으로 생각하시면 될거 같습니다.
