파디야 불펜 강등

After Sunday's loss to the Pirates, manager Joe Torre said infielder Ronnie Belliard came out of the game with a slight strain of the left groin and confirmed that starter Vicente Padilla would pitch out of the bullpen the final week of the season.

Belliard was injured while rounding first base after a key single in the Dodgers' three-run ninth inning. He said the injury was minor and expected to miss a couple days.

"I blew out my right side before," he said. "I didn't blow this one."

The loss of Belliard could be key considering the boost he's given the offense since his acquisition from Washington on Aug. 30. In 23 games, he has five homers, seven doubles, 16 RBIs and is hitting .342 while sharing time at second base with Orlando Hudson and filling in for Casey Blake, who missed his fifth consecutive game as a precautionary measure because of a tender hamstring.

Although the Dodgers will have Manny Ramirez back in the lineup after he had most of Sunday off, they will not have the hot bat of Ronnie Belliard, who suffered a slight groin strain and said he expected to miss a couple days.

Casey Blake is likely to return to third base after being out five games, unless the field is wet, and in Pittsburgh it usually is. Blake's tender hamstring has been playable the last two games had the field conditions not been a risk.

Jonathan Broxton is likely to be unavailable, having pitched back-to-back on short rest with 22 pitches Sunday. George Sherrill has pitched four of the past five days.
일단 오늘 경기에서 휴식을 취한 매니가 내일 라인업에 복귀할 것으로 예상되며 블레이크는 그라운드 상태가 괜찮다면 내일 출전할 것으로 예상된다는군요.
어제 밤 경기를 치루고 오늘 낮경기였음에도 불구하고 퍼칼과 마틴이 라인업에 있었기때문에 내일 경기에서는 아마도 카스트로와 어스무스가 나올 것 같습니다. 퍼칼의 경우는 최근에 허리걱정에 대한 리포터가 없긴하지만 피츠버그에서의 경기에서 그라운드 상태가 좋지않았기때문에 휴식을 줄 필요가 있어보이는군요.

해서 대충 라인업을 짜본다면 내일 좌완 듀크가 나오는지라

이 아닐까 싶네요. 일단 블레이크가 선발라인업에 든다면 블레이크가 5번타순에 나오겠죠. 만약 저 라인업이 내일 것이라면 공격력은 좀 심각해보일듯하네요.

As for Padilla, Torre said he will pitch out of the bullpen this week, "but that doesn't mean he won't be one of the starters" in the postseason. Torre named Chad Billingsley and Jon Garland to start games in San Diego on Tuesday and Wednesday but would not list probables for the final weekend against Colorado.

Padilla, who has not made a relief appearance since 2001, is 3-0 with a 3.62 ERA in six starts since his release by Texas and signing by the Dodgers.

일단 토레가 어떤 생각을 가지고 있는지는 모르겠으나 플옵 1번 시드확보에 최선을 다하지 않나 싶네요. 그렇게 된다면 필리스를 상대로 플옵 첫 2경기를 홈에서 치르며 울프와 커쇼가 등판하는 시나리오를 구상할것이라는군요. 그리고 3차전은 작년 (홈에서였을지라도) 플옵에서 필리스를 상대로 좋은 투구를 한 구로다가 원정에서 선발등판할 것으로 예상된다는군요.

The fourth starting spot is up for grabs among Padilla, Billingsley and Garland and the decision might depend on which team the Dodgers open against, with the struggling Billingsley more likely to face the Cardinals than the Phillies, who beat him twice in the NLCS. His start Wednesday will probably go a long way in deciding his postseason role.
