내일이 체터누가의 시즌 최종전인데, 사실 시즌 시작전만 하더라도 람보와 벨의 조합, 칙과 리바운딩할것이라고 생각되었던 엑킨스(James Adkins)가 있었기에 흥미로운 레벨이 되리라는 생각과는 달리 람보가 올시즌 내내 좋지 않은 모습을 보였고, 칙은 비록 오늘 경기에 잘 던졌지만 시즌 후반부에 부상과 시즌 초부터 들쑥날쑥한 피칭을 선보였지만, 최종전에서 기대감을 갇게 하는군요.

내일 누가 등판할지 아직 나오지 않고 있는데, 일단은 스케줄상 위드로우의 등판일입니다. 안나왔으면 하는 바람이 크네요.

40인 로스터에서 제외되었던 헤수스 카스티요(Jesus Castillo)가 다시 다저스와 계약을 맺고 사흘전에 짦은 이닝을 등판했는데, 2.1이닝동안 1실점했습니다.

Less than 48 hours after being Designated For Assignment by the Los Angeles Dodgers, Jamie Hoffmann resigned with the Dodgers early Friday morning.

"I still have to go through release waivers and then formally sign - I do not know how the formality works," Hoffmann said Friday afternoon from Des Moines where the AAA Albuquerque Isotopes are playing a series with the Iowa Cubs.

Hoffmann said that he is "very happy" with the contract that the Dodgers offered.

"They said that my being designated for assignment was only a business decision," he said. "They are trying to win the World Series this season. They told me that they really have some plans for me - that was proven in their contract offer. They wanted me to stick around with the Dodgers."

He said that he is not back on the 40-man major league roster now because that can't happen until next May.

"That was part of the deal also," Hoffmann said, "but hopefully I can get back on that 40-man roster as quick as possible."

Hoffmann said that he will not be eligible for post-season play with the Dodgers but that he can play with Albuquerque this coming Wednesday.

The contract signed by Hoffmann covers the end of this season and all of next season.

"Ned Colletti (General Manager of the Dodgers) called and talked to me and told me that the Dodgers do not want to lose me - they have plans for me."

Hoffmann said that there are no hard feelings towards the Dodgers.

"It was a business decision," he said, "and I am very happy to be back with the Dodgers."
로스터 문제로 인해 역시 40인로스터에서 제외되었던 호프만(Jamie Hoffmann)이 다시 다저스와 계약을 맺었습니다. 그는 수요일부터 시작되는 트리플 A 포스트시즌에 나설 수 있게 되었습니다. 콜레티가 직접 전화를 걸어 호프만의 40인 로스터 제외는 단지 서류상의 문제일뿐 여전히 그를 다저스의 플랜에 집어넣길 원한다는군요. 그런 사탕발림은 개인적으로는 믿질 않지만, 어쨎든 호프만 입장에서는 달리 다른 방법을 취할만큼 힘이 있는 인물이 아니기에 어찌보면 수용할 수밖에 없는 상황으로 몰고가지 않았나 하는 생각이 들었습니다.
