[존 시켈스] LA 다저스 유망주 Review

존 시켈스가 지난 겨울에 올린 유망주들에 대한 리뷰를 올리기 시작했는데 토요일날 LA 다저스 선수에 대한 리뷰를 올렸습니다. 일단 간단하게 어떻게 보고 있는지 살펴 보면 될 것 같습니다.
 
1) Zach Lee, RHP, Grade B+: 4.55 ERA with 52/10 K/BB in 55 innings for High-A Rancho Cucamonga, 60 hits. Promoted to Double-A and hit hard so far, 9.45 ERA with 16/12 K/BB in 20 innings, 32 hits. Getting some grounders at least, 2.07 GO/AO. Was he really ready to move up? Scouting reports are solid and he's been pushed very quickly, so he gets some slack at this point. (성적은 거지 같아도..스카우트 리포트는 좋다. 왜 이렇게 급하게 승격을 시키는지는 의문...현재 메이저리그에 선발투수가 없는 것도 아니고..좋은 선수 뽑았다고 자랑할려고???....시간은 좀 주고 천천히 성장을 시켰으면....)

2) Nate Eovaldi, RHP, Grade B, Borderline B+. Traded to Miami Marlins in Hanley Ramirez deal. 4.15 ERA with 34/20 K/BB in 56 major league innings, 63 hits. I expect he will improve. (오늘 샌디에고 파드레즈를 상대로해서 승리투수가 되었습니다. 헨리 라미레즈의 트래이드 댓가로 마이애미로 이적했습니다.)
 
3) Allen Webster, RHP, Grade B: 3.90 ERA with 89/40 K/BB in 95 innings for Double-A Chattanooga, 98 hits, 1.97 GO/AO, one homers allowed. Has been pitching very well lately with a 1.89 ERA in his last seven starts. All a matter of command here, his stuff is solid-to-excellent. (근래에 매우 좋은 모습을 보여주고 있다고 하는군요. 커맨드 이슈가 있지만 스터프는 특출난 편이라고 하네요.)
 
4) Garrett Gould, RHP, Grade B: 4.90 ERA with 97/36 K/BB in 101 innings for Rancho, 105 hits, 12 homers. Needs to make adjustments against right-handed hitters, who are batting .320 with 10 homers against him; lefties just .192. (일단 우타자에게 약점을 보이고 있다고 하는군요. 흥미로운 점은 이선수 약간 사이드암 스타일인데..왜 좌타자에게 강하고..우타자에게 약하지???)
 
5) Alfredo Silverio, OF, Grade B-, borderline B: Injured in car accident, then needed Tommy John. (자동차 사고로 인한 토미 존 수술....재활도 더디다고 하네요.)
 
6) Chris Reed, LHP, Grade B-, borderline B: 3.25 ERA with 51/24 K/BB and 36 hits allowed in 53 innings, split between High-A and Double-A. 2.06 GO/AO, has been on a tight leash since moving up, just 18 innings over six starts. (철저하게 이닝 제한을 하고 있다고 하는군요. AA리그에서 6번등판을 해서 단 18이닝만을 던졌다고 합니다.)
 
7) Josh Lindblom, RHP, Grade B-: I expected him to be a fine reliever and that's what he's been, 3.09 ERA with 42/18 K/BB in 47 innings for the Dodgers, 40 hits. (메이저리그에서 불펜투수로 안정적인 모습을 보여주고 있다고 하는군요.)
 
8) Chris Withrow, RHP, Grade B-: 4.88 ERA with 54/31 K/BB in 52 innings in Double-A, 47 hits. Recently moved to bullpen which may be his long-term role. Plenty of stuff but command remains problematic and holds him back. (근래에 불펜으로 옮겼으며 아마도 그의 장기적인 위치가 될 것 같다고 하는군요. 뛰어난 스터프를 갖고 있지만 여전히 커맨드 이슈를 갖고 있다고 하는군요. )
 
9) Joc Pederson, OF, Grade B-: .300/.374/.449 with 29 walks, 54 strikeouts, 17 steals for Rancho. Although these aren't exceptional numbers for the Cal League, he is just 20 years old and virtually skipped Low-A. I like him. (타자에게 유리한 A+에서 뛰고 있기 때문에 특별한 성적은 아니지만 아직 20살짜리 선수라는 것을 고려하면 긍정적이라고 하는군요.)
 
10) Angel Sanchez, RHP, Grade B-: 6.00 ERA with 79/32 K/BB in 99 innings for Rancho, 117 hits, 19 homers. Another live-arm guy with command issues and problems with his secondary pitches. (좋은 어깨를 가진 선수인데 커맨드 이슈와 변화구에 약점이 있다고 하는군요.)
 
11) Gorman Erickson, C, Grade C+: Hitting .232/.346/.320 with 33 walks, 43 strikeouts in 203 at-bats. I thought he was a big pre-season sleeper but it is not happening. Has thrown out just 22% of runners. Big disappointment for me. (슬리퍼로 봤지만 올해 좋은 모습을 보여주지 못했다고 합니다. 실망스럽다고 하는군요.)
 
12) Angelo Songco, 1B-OF, Grade C+: Hitting just .176/.272/.332 with 20 walks, 39 strikeouts in 187 at-bats in A-ball. Struggling after having a rod inserted into his right leg in the off-season. He was a monster last year at the same level, so I have to think the injury has something to do with his bad season. (부상으로 인해서 부진하다고 하는군요.)
 
13) Blake Smith, OF, Grade C+: .266/.354/.411 for Chattanooga, 11 homers, 44 walks, 99 strikeouts in 338 at-bats, 10 steals. Needs to show more with the bat to have a chance in a corner outfield spot. (코너 외야수로 자리를 잡기 위해서는 더 좋은 방망이를 보여줄 필요가 있다고 하는군요.)
 
14) Shawn Tolleson, RHP, Grade C+: 2.82 ERA with 34/5 K/BB in 22 innings in Double-A/Triple-A, then 5.40 ERA with 11/6 K/BB in 11 major league innings. I expect he'll be hanging around major league bullpens for a long time. (마이너리그와 메이저리그에서 무난한 모습을 보여주고 있으며 장기적으로 메이저리그에서 불펜투수로 활약을 할 후보라고 하는군요.)
 
15) Aaron Miller, LHP, Grade C+: 4.14 ERA with 86/56 K/BB in 91 innings in Double-A, 82 hits. Not great, not terrible, this is another guy with command issues although he's been more effective than he was last year. (평범한 성적을 보여주고 있는데 역시나 커맨드 이슈를 보여주고 있다고 합니다. 물론 지난해보다는 약간 개선된 모습이라고 합니다. 빨리 불펜투수로 전향시키자...)
 
16) Alex Castellanos, OF-INF, Grade C+: Hitting .359/.451/.636 with 11 homers, 32 walks, 54 strikeouts in 231 at-bats for Triple-A Albuquerque, 12 steals. 3-for-21 in a major league trial. Worse players have had long careers as reserve outfielders. (최소한 후보 외야수로 메이저리그에서 볼수 있을것 같다고 하는군요.)
 
17) Scott Van Slyke, OF-1B, Grade C+: .321/.395/.554 with 11 homers, 27 walks, 36 strikeouts in 224 at-bats in Triple-A, hit .167/.196/.315 in 54 major league at-bats. Older prospect, just turned 26. May get stuck as a Quadruple-A type unless he can force himself into playing time soon. (AAA팀에서는 인상적인 기록을 보여주고 있지만 메이저리그에서는 그렇지 않다고 합니다. 전형적인 AAAA형 선수가 될 가능성이 있다고 하는군요.)
 
18) Jonathan Garcia, OF, Grade C+: Hit .236/.271/.380 with eight homers, 12 walks, 106 strikeouts in 297 at-bats for Rancho, was just suspended for throwing a bat at an umpire. He's already got enough problems chasing pitches outside the strike zone. (너무 삼진을 많이 당하고 있는데...근래에 심판에게 방망이를 던져서 징계중이라고 하는군요.)
 
19) Steve Ames, RHP, Grade C+: 1.90 ERA, 11 saves, 53/10 K/BB in 47 innings for Chattanooga, 44 hits. Another solid relief arm who can help in the next year.(또 다른 불펜투수로 후보라고 하는군요.)
 
20) Jake Lemmerman, SS, Grade C+: .240/.353/.358 with 37 walks, 69 strikeouts in 271 at-bats for Chattanooga, eight steals in eight attempts. Reliable defender though range works better at second base, could be a good utility guy if he can hit more, and I think he might eventually.(수비범위가 아쉽지만 믿을만한 수비수라고 합니다. 타격능력을 개선시킨다면 유틸리티 선수가 될 수 있을것 같다고 합니다.

전체적으로 투수 유망주가 많은 팜이며 멕시코 출신의 하비어 솔라노 ()는  지켜볼 필요가 있는 또 다른 후보라고 합니다. 에단 마틴 (Ethan Martin)은 올해 커맨드가 개선이 되면서 유망주 지휘를 다시 찾고 있다고 하는군요. A팀의 불펜투수인 이미 가르시아 (Yimi Garcia)도 많은 삼진과 세이브를 기록하고 있다고 하는군요. 반면에 타자중에서는 외야수인 바비 코일 (Bobby Coyle )과 레온 란드리 (Leon Landry)가 A+리그에서 좋은 모습을 보여주고 있다고 하는군요. A팀의 1루수인 오코야 딕슨 (O'Koyea Dickson )은 준수한 성적을 보여주고 있는데 내년에 A+팀에서 폭발할수 있는 후보라고 합니다.

구단주가 바뀌면서 드래프트와 해외 유망주 영입에 돈을 투자하고 있다고 하는데 코레이 시거, 제스무엘 발렌틴과 같은 고교 투수, 로스 스트리플링, 파코 로드리게스와 같은 대졸 투수를 보강했다고 합니다. 올해 쿠바 선수들을 다수 영입을 했는데 드래프트를 통해서 오넬키 가르시아, 해외 스카우팅을 통해서 야셀 피그를 영입했다고 합니다. 사실...뭐 새로운 것은 없습니다. 그리고 LA 다저스의 AAA팀의 불펜투수로 뛰었던 윌 레데즈마 (Wil Ledezma)가 일본 프로야구로 진출을 했습니다. 성적은 형편 없지만 메이저리그 경험과 인상적인 삼진 비율을 보고 데려간것 같습니다. 계약할 당시에 해외 진출하면 무조건 놓아 준다는 조항이 있었으니 이적료를 받지는 못했을것 같습니다. 존 일라이 (John Ely)도 여러 팀에서 관심을 받지 않을까 싶은데...본인이 아직 메이저리그 꿈을 버리지 않은 모양입니다.

현시점에서 LA 다저스의 TOP 20 유망주를 생각해 봤습니다. BA에서 처럼 당장의 성적보다는 포텐셜을 많이 고려한....
