경기관련 얘기

이미 스파님이 포스팅해주신대로 다저스의 선발 2루수와 5선발이 결정났습니다. Apirl pools' day가 아닙니다..ㅋ

일단 두 선수 모두 좋아하네요.

Some notes from tonight's game:

Haeger showed us the highs and lows of the knuckleball, as he threw 100 pitches, just 52 for strikes, while walking six hitters in his five innings of work.  However, he also struck out four hitters and allowed just two hits, one of which was a solo home run by Grady Sizemore for the only run charged to Haeger.  Haeger told Josh Suchon on the KABC postgame show that the movement on his knuckleball was good, but the command was lacking, calling his six walks "unacceptable."
오늘 100개의 공을 던진 헤거의 경우는 너클볼에 관한 무브먼트는 좋았다고 스스로 평하지만, 6개의 볼넷은 문제가 있네요.

Russell Martin caught six innings for the second straight day, and went hitless in two at-bats.  Torre said Martin would catch tomorrow and be the designated hitter Saturday, noting that he needs at-bats
마틴은 오늘도 6이닝 포수를 봤는데, 내일도 경기에 내보낼 예정이라고 하네요. 그리고 그 다음날은 DH로 출전한다고...
일단 시즌 정규시즌 시작해서도 이런식으로 가지않을까 하는 생각이 드네요.

Ramon Ortiz pitched another scoreless inning, running his spring ERA to 1.02 in 17 2/3 innings
5선발에는 탈락했지만, 여전히 오티즈는 좋은 모습을 보여주고 있습니다. 게임데이상으로 코너웍이 좋았는데, 실제 모습을 봤으면 좋겠네요.

George Sherrill, who has been working on his delivery for the better part of a week, struggled in his return to the mound.  He allowed a double, a single, and a walk among his five batters faced, allowing a pair of runs.  The first run scored on a fluke play: with Tim Fedroff on second base in the seventh inning, Sherrill threw a wild pitch that died when it hit the backstop.  Catcher Brad Ausmus had no idea where the ball was, and Fedroff scored all the way from second base.  On the spring, Sherrill has seven walks against four strikeouts. Hopefully Sherrill, who told Vincent Bonsignore of the LA Daily News last week that he hated spring training, can find his control once the regular season bell rings Monday.  "Sherrill's still searching for that comfort zone," Torre said, "I'm not concerned about it, there's nothing physically wrong with him."
오늘 쉐릴이 삽질을 하긴 했지만, 어스무스가 공의 위치를 착각해서 2루주자가 홈으로 들어오는 어이없는 사태가 벌어졌다고 하네요. 여전히 토레는 쉐릴의 최근 리듬에 대해 걱정하지 않는다고....베테랑은 일단 믿고 보자는 분위기인듯....

Ramon Troncoso induced what probably should have been three straight outs in the eighth inning, but two errors -- including a bad throw by DeWitt on a potential double play -- and a hit that should have been an error prolonged the inning. Still, Troncoso allowed a walk and two singles after the miscues, completing the three-run inning that provided the winning margin for Cleveland.
오늘 트론코소가 3실점인가 했는데, 원래대로라면 이닝을 깔끔하게 마무리지었어야 했었다고 하네요. 2루수와 3루수가 하나씩 해먹은 탓에 8회초가 길어졌다네요.

그치만 오늘 (역시 게임데이상으로) 공이 높았습니다. 남탓만 할게 아닌듯 싶네요.

Both God Bless America (seventh inning stretch) and Don't Stop Believin' (mid 8th inning) were played at Dodger Stadium tonight.

Tomorrow night's game in Anaheim will be the first game Garret Anderson has ever played against the Angels, and marks his first return to the stadium he called home for 15 seasons.  Torre said Anderson will play left field Friday night, and Manny Ramirez would be the DH. Clayton Kershaw and Ervin Santana are tomorrow's scheduled starters.
내일은 엔젤스 홈에서 치뤄지는 경기인데, 토레는 내일 선발 LF로 앤더슨(Garret Anderson)을 내보낸다고 합니다. 매니는 DH로 나온다고 하네요. 아마도 일종의 쇼맨십을 연출하고 싶은 모양입니다. 엔젤스 팬들도 앤더슨에게 기립박수를 보내지 않을까 싶네요.

Torre added, "Saturday we'll probably play some of the younger guys" for the Dodgers' final exhibition game before heading to Pittsburgh after the game.
내일 경기에서는 다소 어린 선수들이 출전할거라고 하네요. 내일 경기끝나고 25인 로스터를 발표한다고 했으니 경기 끝나고서도 기대가 되네요. 과연 닉 그린이 포함될까요?

닉 그린이 유격수로 나섰을 경우 수비스텟(쯤) 됩니다. 하지만, 전 여전히 의문인게, everyday player도 아닌데, 이런게 크게 작용할까 싶네요. 그냥 주전의 하루 땜빵정도의 선수가 얼마나 중요한 위치를 해줘야하는지까지 따진다면...

아무튼 이 수치만큼은 앙헬 베로아나 후안 카스트로에 비해 훨씬 좋은 수비수라고 하는군요.
