스털츠 계약확정 외에

Joe Bick, Stults' Cincinnati-based agent, confirmed that the deal was complete and that Stults had agreed to terms with his new team on a one-year contract with a club option for 2011.
다저스가 스털츠(Eric Stults)를 팔고 바로 일본야구팀인 히로시마 캅스와 계약을 확정지었습니다. 1+1계약이라고 하는군요.

얼마전에 다저스가 스털츠를 판다고 했는데, 실제로 다른 구단들과 협상이 있긴했었던 모양입니다. 그러나 아무도 관심이 없었다고 하네요.

Bick wouldn't disclose financial terms of the deal except to say that they far exceeded the $410,000 that the major league portion of Stults' current contract with the Dodgers would have paid him, which would have been prorated if he didn't spend the entire season in the majors. Bick also said the new deal contains several incentives and that if the Carp exercises Stults' option for next season and he maxes out those incentives, he stands to make ''four or five or six times'' as much over the next two years as he likely would have by remaining in the U.S.
일본팀과의 계약 내용은 상세하게 공개되지 않았지만, 대충 스털츠가 빅리그에 있다면 받을 수 있는 연봉보다는 많다고 하네요.

오늘 다저스는 콜로라도와 경기를 가졌는데, 내일 라스베거스와 카멜백-렌치에서 두 팀으로 나눠 경기를 가지기 때문에 주전들이 많이 나오지 않았습니다.


그 중에 로니와 캐롤이 3안타씩 쳤는데, 캐롤이 의외로 발이 빠르네요.

그 외에 오늘 유일한 득점을 얻게한 것이 존슨(Reed Johnson)의 타점인데, 존슨는 피에르보다 컨택은 딸릴지라도 장타력은 확실히 있을거 같고, 건강할때의 모습을 되찾는다면 좋아질거 같습니다.

아직 만 33세가 지나지 않았기때문에 자신에게도 올시즌 후의 계약을 위해서도 열심히 할 계기가 될거 같네요. 그리고 고향팀에서 뛰는것도 동기유발이 될거 같구요.

베리사리오가 제한 DL에 올라갔고, 웨이드가 아직 DL에 올라가진 않았지만, DL에 올린다면 15일자가 아닌 60일자 DL일 가능성이 높은데다가 쿼홍치도 DL에서 시작할 가능성이 있다는 리포트때문에 스털츠와 렙코를 버린 다저스는 일단 라몬 오티즈(Ramon Ortiz)와 위버(Jeff Weaver)가 투수진에 포함될 가능성이 높아졌습니다.

쿼홍치가 진짜로 DL에서 시작한다면 왼손불펜을 위해 리치(Brent Leach)가 올라올 가능성이 있다고 생각하는데, LA쪽 언론에서는 대신 밀러(Justin Miller)나 다른 오티즈(Russ Ortiz)의 가능성을 언급하네요.

일단 밀러의 경우는 5월 1일까지 25인 로스터에 포함되지 않는다면 방출조항을 가지고 있기때문에 당장 고려되어야할 대상이 아니라고 생각되네요.

Monasterios allowed three baserunners in his one inning of relief work Tuesday at Tucson against the Rockies, escaping without allowing a run by getting a comebacker double-play and a strikeout.

"He looked liked he forced it a little bit and then got it together on that double-play ball," manager Joe Torre said.

In his previous appearance, Monasterios was relieved after loading the bases with two outs. The previous day, he came in with two out in an inning and recorded a strikeout. Prior to that, he started and went four innings, allowing three runs and four extra-base hits.

Monasterios, a 24-year-old right-hander from Venezuela, has pitched only two games above Class A and was primarily a starter until last year, when the Phillies converted him to relief. He seems to have strong support from the front office that drafted him.

"He exhibits no fear," general manager Ned Colletti said before Tuesday's game. "He has a big league changeup right now. Is it a bit of a stretch [jumping to the big leagues]? Sure it is. He was successful in the Venezuela Winter League, and that means something to me."
오늘 모나스테리오스가 등판해서 1이닝만 투구했습니다. 내일 또 등판하기때문에 1이닝만 투구한 모양입니다만 그의 성적은 갈수록 나빠지고 있네요.

하지만, 여전히 콜레티는 그의 체인지업이 마음에 드는 모양입니다.

게임데이가 확실히 맛이 간거 같습니다. 어제 구로다가 91개의 투구를 했는데, 오늘 다저스의 나머지 2이닝을 구로다가 던졌다고 나오더군요. Box에는 코코란이 던졌다고 나오고...

마이너리그 캠프에서 열리는 경기는 사진으로만 판단하건데, 확실히 조금 더 자유스러운 분위기인거 같습니다. 이 사진만이 아니라 다른 사진에서도 보면 경기외에 다른 선수들은 즐기는거 같더군요.

오늘 콜로라도와의 경기에서 Cactus League 기록이 또 갱신되었는데, 확실히 다저스가 카멜백-렌치로 옮겨오면서 LA쪽 시민들을 많이 불러들이는거 같습니다. 올시즌 전까진 Cactus League기록 Top 10중에 9개를 컵스가 보유하고 있는데, 최근 4경기인가? 다저스가 전부 갈아치워버렸죠. 더군다나 컵스는 조만간 Cactus League를 떠난다고 하니...
