약간 걱정스러운 소식

Eric Milton was expected to get his next start skipped since they don't need a 5th starter next week but the Dodgers received word that Eric Stults jammed his left thumb last night. Stults said the thumb is sore and swollen and he will probably postpone his Sunday bullpen session.

"I didn't even realize it at the time," said Stults, who allowed a walk and a double to the next two hitters before ending the inning and coming out of the game for a pinch-hitter. "It's still a little sore. I probably won't throw tomorrow."

The injury occurred when Stults took a header on a close play at first base and he broke his fall with his pitching hand.
이번주에는 다저스에게 5선발이 필요없기때문에 밀튼은 아마도 등판을 건너뛰겠지만, 스털츠가 왼손 엄지손가락을 다쳤다고 합니다. 손가락이 쓰리고 부었다는데...
일단 스케줄상으로 스털츠의 다음 등판은 메츠와의 3번째 경기라서 그날 어떻게 될지를 모르겠네요. 내일 스털츠의 불펜섹션은 연기될거라는데, 아마 그렇게 되겠죠.
예전에 메츠를 상대로 깜짝 선발로 잘 던졌던 기억이 나는데 하필 메츠전에 등판하지 못할 가능성도 있네요.

Juan Pierre did everything a lead off man is supposed to do with three hits, three runs scored, and two stolen bases. Unfortunately he was the only Dodger to score. Rafael Furcal continued his craptastic season at the plate and in the field by going 0 - 5 and picking up his sixth error. Luckily Orlando Hudson was able to bring home Pierre twice so the Dodgers could make a game of it.

While it still remains to be seen who will take Pinango’s slot in the rotation, Albuquerque has welcomed a pair of pitchers into the fold. Left-hander Carmen Cali arrives from Double-A Chattanooga, where he went 0-1 with a 3.55 ERA in seven appearances all out of the bullpen. Also on board is Korean right-hander Hyang-Nam Choi, a 38 year-old import who pitched the last two years for the Lotte Giants in the Korean Baseball League.

Kershaw lost for the third time in his last five starts, in a 5-2 setback at Philadelphia on Tuesday. The lefty gave up only four hits through six innings, but he couldn't find the plate. He yielded a season-high five walks as his ERA ballooned from 4.91 to 6.00. If there was one positive, the six innings were the longest Kershaw went since an April 15 start against the Giants.
지난 필리스전에서 생각보다 잘 버텼다는 생각이 들었습니다. 필리스를 상대로 5이닝동안 4피안타 4실점 4BB를 허용했는데, 지난달에 휴스턴 & 콜로라도에 비하면 조금은 진보된 모습을 보여주었고 커쇼가 마무리를 잘해야 집으로 돌아가 메츠와 엔젤스를 상대할 힘을 비축할 수 있을 겁니다.

The hamstring injury suffered by Triple-A Albuquerque outfielder Jason Repko is not as serious as originally believed and he could return to action in 10 days, according to trainer Stan Conte. Repko injured his left hamstring, but in a different place than the injury that required surgery and sidelined him the entire 2007 season. Jamie Hoffman, called up from Double-A Chattanooga to replace Repko, was hitting .294 in five games.

다저스의 최고 승률에 또 하나의 견인차를 하는게 수비율인데, 이 순위는 MLB전체 순위이며 NL에서는 3위를 달리고 있습니다. 근대도 퍼칼이 조금 문제지만, 헛슨때문에 이런 결과가 있었던거 같네요.
