2017년 월드시리즈 LA 다저스 로스터

 

2017년 월드시리즈에 출전하는 LA 다저스 로스터가 발표가 되었습니다. 유격수인 코리 시거와 우완투수인 브랜든 매카시가 로스터에 합류하는 대신에 포수인 카일 파머와 외야수인 커티스 그랜더슨이 제외가 되었습니다. 커티스 그랜더슨의 경우 아메리칸리그에서 선수생활을 오랫동안 하였고 포스트시즌 경험이 많아서 로스터에 남을 것으로 예측을 했는데....최근 컨디션이 너무 좋지 않은 것이 반영이 된 것으로 보입니다. 카일 파머의 경우 팀의 3번째 포수 겸 오른손잡이 대타 요원으로 로스터에 남아있었는데...포수로 출전할 일은 없었고 오른쪽 대타 요원으로 좋은 모습을 보여주지 못했기 때문에 로스터에서 제외가 된 것으로 보입니다. 휴스턴의 로스터에 좌완 불펜투수가 거의 없기 때문에 오른손 대타 요원이 필요없다고 판단을 하고 로스터에서 제외를 한 것으로 보면 정확할것 같습니다. 브랜든 매카시가 로스터에 합류한 것을 보면 다저스가 월드시리즈에서는 더 빠른 투수 교체 타이밍을 잡겠다는 의지 표현으로 보이는군요.
