The Dodgers may have taken the whole trend to a new level by attempting to employ the entire Wallach family. Former All-Star Tim Wallach is the manager at Triple-A Albuquerque, and his sons Matthew and Brett are both playing within the organization. Los Angeles went further toward completing the set on Wednesday by drafting right-handed prep pitcher Chad Wallach in the 43rd round.

이로써 팀 월랙의 아들 3명이 모두 다저스에 지명되었는데, 체격은 3명중에 가장 좋은거 같습니다. 신체조건은 6피트 3인치 210파운드라고 되어있지만, 더 커보이네요.

위에 영상을 보면 테이크백(중심이동)이 아주 좋다라는 생각이 가장 먼저 들었습니다. 최하위라운드쯤되지만, 느낌만큼은 좋네요...적어도 저에겐


Cody Martin is a 2009 3B/SS with a 6'2'', 205 lb. frame from Toccoa, GA who attends Stephens County HS. Martin has a strong athletic build and his hands work well in the infield. He was very impressive in BP driving balls over the baggy at the Metrodome. He has good hitting rhythm and showed good bat speed. He has big power to the pullside and gets his hips through well. The lefthanded bat needs to be followed very closely. His older brother Ethan was a first round pick this year. Cody is also an outstanding student.

Cody Martin is a 2009 SS/3B with a 6'1'', 180 lb. frame from Toccoa, GA, who attends Stephens County HS. Named to the Top Prospect Team. Martin has a lean and athletic build with present strength. Defensively he has quick feet with good range, and has good arm strength. He has the ability to play both spots on the left side of the infield, but he looks more natural at third base. In game action, Martin showed range and great body control coming in on a slow roller at third base. At the plate he hits from a wide base and a straight away stance. Martin has plus bat speed through the hitting zone with nice swing mechanics. The ball jumps off his bat showing projectable power. He keeps his hands inside the ball well and consistently hits hard line drives to his pull side. On the mound he has a loose arm with good arm speed. His fastball topped out at 80 mph, and mixed in a rolling curveball. Martin has great upside to his overall game.
