이제 스프링 캠프 시작

다저스 스프링 캠프가 열리는 애리조나로 다저스의 장비들이 운반하는 사진이 공개되었습니다. 어떤 팀은 이걸 트럭데이라고 하던데, 우리는 그런 명칭이 따로 없나 봅니다.

This will be the club's second full spring in Arizona, after spending the previous 61 Springs in Vero Beach, Fla. The Dodgers went 15-22 in the Cactus League last year while setting a franchise Spring Training attendance record of 131,134.

Important dates this Spring:
Saturday, Feb. 20: Pitchers and catchers report.
Sunday, Feb. 21: Pitchers and catchers first workout.
Thursday, Feb. 25: Position players report.
Friday, Feb. 26: First full-squad workout.
Friday, March 5: First exhibition game.
Saturday and Sunday, March 13-14: Exhibition games in Taiwan.
Wednesday, March 31: Exhibition game in Las Vegas vs. Cincinnati.
Saturday, April 3: Final exhibition game against Angels.
Monday, April 5: Opening Day in Pittsburgh.
앞으로의 일정인데, 사흘 후에 투포수가 먼저 소집됩니다. 어떤 구단은 이미 소집된 구단도 있더군요.
그리고 25일에는 포지션 플레이어들도 소집됩니다.
타이완으로 떠나는 일정에는 나중에 따로 기사가 뜰거 같습니다. 일단 프로모션행사도 포함되어있기때문에 일부 주전들은 참여할 것으로 예상되고, 참가하지 않는 선수들은 애리조나에 남아서 시범경기를 계속 하겠죠.
라스베거스에서의 신시네티와의 경기는 이미 계약되어있는 상태라서 그걸 시행하는걸로 알고 있습니다.

그리고 늘 그렇듯이 시범경기의 마지막은 언제나처럼 애너하임과 함께!!

Forty-eight hours from now, many of us will be reporting with pitchers and catchers (though not literally, with those who actually pitch and catch).

There are already more than a dozen early arrivers at Camelback working out on their own, from what I understand, and Saturday is when they'll all take their physicals, with Sunday being the first official workout.

If you haven't started following the Dodgers on facebook or twitter, now might be the time to do so, as I expect we'll be tweeting a lot more than usual and updating the facebook page throughout the day. After all, if you're reading this right now, chances are you can't get enough Dodger baseball, right?

이미 카멜벡-렌치에는 12명 이상의 선수가 있다고 하는군요. 이 글은 '인사이드 더 다저스'에서 퍼온건데, 일반적인 기사글이나 페이스북보다는 트위터를 더 많이 활용해서 업데이트할거라고 하는군요. 아무래도 140자 이내의 텍스트글자만 허락하는 트위터이기때문에 다른 동영상이나 사진을 끼워넣는 방식보다는 간편하기때문에 많이들 쓰고 있어서 그걸 선호하는가 봅니다.

제가 다저스관련 트위터는 모두 팔로잉해놨기때문에 소식 들려오면 바로 올리겠습니다.

아참!! 블로그스팟에서 엘버커키소식을 전해주는 현지팬이 저에게 채팅으로 다른 나라의 다저스팬을 알고 싶다는 쪽지가 왔던데, 아시다시피 영어가 꽝이라서 일단 거절하긴했는데, 잠깐 난처했었습니다.
