Strengths:	Big-time power to all fields, good makeup, plays the game the right way.
Weaknesses:	You'll have to live with a fair amount of strikeouts, even if the leg kick is removed. He's limited defensively.
Summary:	Every Draft class has at least a few pure power hitters in it, usually from the college ranks. Songco fits the description, with plus power to all fields. He's willing to take a walk, but he'll also carry the bat back to the dugout quite a bit. He's likely going to be stuck in left field as a pro as his defensive skill set wouldn't allow another place. That's OK, because the bat should play wherever he is stationed defensively. That kind of pop usually doesn't last too long on Draft day.

가장 뜨거웠던 타자중 하나인 그는 타석에서 특이한 스탠스를 갖고 있고 앞발을 들어올리고 내리면서 공을 맞추는 타법을 구사한다고 합니다.리그에서 두번째로 홈런이 많은 타자였던 브레킹볼에 약점을 가지고 있고 수비면에서 코너 외야를 볼 수 있을지 의문일만큼 제한적인 수비범위를 지녔다고 하네요.주루나 글러브질은 평균이라고 하네요 그럼에도 시즌동안 에러는 2개만 기록했다고 합니다.다저스는 수비쪽으로 쏭코를 제한두지 않고 자신의 타격을 특히 파워를 보여줄 수 있다면 어느 포지션에서든 키울거라고 하네요.

 from BA 5/20: Undrafted out of high school, Songco has been one of the hottest college hitters in California this spring. Hot bats translate to draft helium, and Songco may have hit his way into the first two rounds. He utilizes one of the most distinctive stances in college baseball, starting deep in the box, standing tall with his bat held high. He lifts his front right leg straight up and then drops it straight down before lashing at the ball with a quick bat. His power was evident with wood bats last summer, when he hit eight homers to rank second in the Cape Cod League. An aggressive hitter, Songco is vulnerable to offspeed pitches and has difficulty covering the outside corner. Early in the count, he looks for a pitch middle-in that he can hammer. He has average speed and is an average defensive outfielder. While he has played right field for Loyola Marymount, his arm probably dictates a move to left in pro ball.   다저스가 6라운드에 뽑은 선수는 다름 아닌 포수 제레미 와이즈입니다.오클라호마 대학 포수인 그는 07년 대학 입학 전에 오클랜드가 45라운드에 지명한 경력이 있는 선수라고 하네요.아버지가 대학 야구에서 뛰었고 뉴욕 양키스에서 5번의 GG와 1960 년 월드시리즈에서 MVP 를 받았던 바비 리차드슨의 조카이기도 합니다.야구인자? 라는 유전을 고려한 픽이군요.^^ 거의 전 경기를 포수로 뛰었고 선발 출장한 대두분의 경기에서 안타를 쳤던 와이즈는 좋은 어깨와 빅 12에 드는 주자로 포수로 발도 빠르나 보네요 그리고 수비에서도 6명의 주자를 잡아냈고 에러도 2개 밖에 기록하지 않았다고 합니다.타격도 6개 부분에서 5개 부분에 상위 랭크되었을만큼 좋았고 팀내에서 타율,홈런,장타율과 타점 1위를 기록했다고 합니다.스카우터들의 포수로 눈에 들만큼 훌륭한 시즌을 보낸 선수입니다.

No, not the hairstylist from The Amazing Race, he's an amazing pitcher from Fowler High School in California who led the West Sequoia League by allowing a .124 batting average and striking out 85 in 45 innings. 

His coach Bill Feaver was quoted as saying, "“Brandon is one of the best pitchers who has ever pitched for Fowler HS. This year he topped out at 94 miles per hour, which is phenomenal. After graduation he will more than likely sign a professional contract. 

“He is projected by some to be in the top ten rounds of the draft and some see him even higher, perhaps in the top five rounds.” 

"He has drawn the attention of professional scouts from all organizations.  Outfielder Jonathan Garcia has tools, allowing him to look like a stud in workouts, but he struggles in game action. He’s undersized at 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds but has a hose—the second-best arm on the island to Sierra. In February, he put on a show in batting practice, hitting light-tower home runs, then looked awful against live pitching, swinging and missing at everything. He wasn’t good at the Excellence Tournament, either. He’s naturally strong, hustles and plays the game the right way.  The Dodgers dipped into the University of Oklahoma again and selected shortstop Bryant Hernanez, a 5-9. 170-pound switch-hitting sparkplug who was born in Oxnard, Calif. 

A finalist for the Brooks Wallace Award, presented to the nation's top shortstop, he is a first-team All-Big 12 selection after hitting .324 with seven homers and 29 RBIs in conference play. 

He started all 63 games at short after making 39 starts in two previous seasons and his batting average never dipped below .350 during the 2009 season, hitting safely in all but 10 games. He recorded career highs in hits, runs and RBIs this season 

Hernandez helped lead the Lodi Grapesox, along with Elliott Blair, to a 37-15 record and the Northern California League title, hitting .309 with 21 RBIs and eight stolen bases. (브라이언트 헤르난데즈는 타격적인 면에서는 대학 유격수중 상당한 순위를 차지할만큼 타격 재능이 뛰어난 선수라고 합니다.올시즌부터 유격수로 전담해서 뛰게 되었다고 해도 과언이 아닌데 포지션을 유격수 전담하면서 타율이 이전보다 약간 떨어졌음에도 올시즌 본인 커리어 하이 시즌을 보냈다고 합니다.전체적인 다른 곳의 평을 봐도 10라운드에 뽑기에는 이만한 선수가 없다고 보면 될만큼 좋은 픽인것 같습니다.)

 Comments: Shaffer might be one of the best high school bats in the Draft class. With a simple swing and plus bat speed, he should hit for average and plenty of power. He's big and strong and has enough arm to stay at third. His hand are fine, too, but there is some question whether his range will be enough to stay at the position, especially as he matures. No matter, though, his bat will play just fine at whatever position his future team wants him to play.

 The Dodgers selected third baseman Richard Shaffer out of Providence High School in North Carolina. The 6-3, 190-pounder may be a real find, particularly in the 28th round. 

Scouts like his simple swing and his bat speed and feel he will develop into a 30+ home run hitter as he develops. He has a solid arm for third base but may grow out of the position, but scouts report that his bat will play anywhere they put him. 

The third scouting report reads: "Shaffer might be one of the best high school bats in the Draft class. With a simple swing and plus bat speed, he should hit for average and plenty of power.
