다저스, 완디에게 접근?

메인 언론에 보도되지 않은 트위터 소식인데, 올시즌 삽질하고 있는 완디 로드리게스에게 접근했다는 루머가 있네요. 그렇지만, 현실성이 너무나도 없죠. 올시즌 5M을 받고 있고, 내년 이후에 FA가 되지만, 당장 다저스 피칭에 힘이 되어줘야할 선수는 결코 아니라고 생각되네요.

피츠버그에서 포스트-가젯지와 함께 가장 정확한 언론이 타임스온라인닷컴인데, 그들의 에이스인 폴 마홈(Paul Maholm)의 댓가로 빅리그가 준비된 선수를 원한다고 하는군요.

The Dodgers are eyeing Pirates left-hander Paul Maholm and Indians right-hander Fausto Carmona on the trade market as they look to hang on in the National League West race.

It is not impossible to think the Pirates could trade Maholm to the Dodgers. However, the Pirates are said to want a major return, specifically shortstop prospect Dee Gordon, who is playing at Class AA Jacksonville, and a young pitcher who is ready to join the major-league rotation.

Gordon would be intriguing to the Pirates, who lack a top shortstop prospect, especially since Chase d’Arnaud is struggling at Class AA Altoona. Gordon, ranked as the Dodgers’ top prospect coming into this season by Baseball Prospectus and Baseball America, would fit a Pirates’ approach  that seems to be leaning toward building an offense around speed. He is hitting .280 with 36 stolen bases in the Southern League.

Yet if the Pirates can’t pry Gordon away from the Dodgers, they would be infinitely better off keeping Maholm. Otherwise, they run the risk of finishing the season on a 70-game losing streak.
즉, 마홈을 파는 것은 불가능하지는 않지만, 디 고든과 빅리그가 준비된 선발투수를 원한다고 하는군요.

작년부터 벅스측이 조금 무리한 요구를 하는거 같네요. 오프시즌에도 라로쉬를 원했던 오클랜드에게 지오 곤잘레스와 라이언 스위니를 달라고 했던 기억이 어렴풋이 나네요.

그나저나 다저스는 카모나에게 왜 집착하는지 모르겠습니다.
