이반 디헤수스 주니어 (Ivan DeJesus Jr.)에 대한 로토월드의 코멘트

로토월드에 애리조나 폴리그를 정리하는 글을 올라왔는데 그곳에 다저스 유망주인 이반 디헤수스에 대한 설명이 있군요. 일단 올해 그의 타율에 대해서는 플루크라는 평가를 하고 있는 모양인데 볼넷을 만들어 내는 능력은 높이 평가하고 있군요. 그렇게 때문에 메이저리그에서 0.260을 친다면 주전 내야수, 0.280을 칠수 있다면 리드오프타입의 선수가 될수 있다고 평가를 하고 있습니다. 다저스가 라파엘 퍼칼과 재계약을 했기 때문에 아마도 트래이드 카드로 사용이 되거나 2루수 전환이 필요하지 않을까 싶군요. 물론 밑에 코멘트처럼 라파엘 퍼칼의 등부상 문제가 완전히 해결이 되지 않은 상태이기 때문에 좀 더 지켜볼 필요가 있겠지만...

A strong glove at shortstop made DeJesus a prospect even when he was amassing 688 and 752 OPSs in his two years in A-ball. Surprisingly, his offensive game took off in Double-A. Perhaps the .324 average was a fluke, but he showed the ability to occasionally knock a ball over an outfielder's head and his already strong walk rate improved further. If DeJesus can hit .260 in the majors, he should be a capable regular. At .280, he might even be an option as a leadoff man. He's not particularly fast, but he is a smart baserunner and a strong percentage basestealer. The Dodgers' move to re-sign Rafael Furcal would seem to turn both DeJesus and Chin-Lung Hu into trade bait. DeJesus, though, will probably be kept for now, just in case Furcal has additional back problems. He needs a year in Triple-A anyway.
