매니 리헵의 잠정적인 스케줄 공개

The full rehabilitation schedule for Manny Ramirez has finally been confirmed by Joe Torre, and thanks to some notes and schedule updates from both Bill Shaikin of the LA Times and Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, here's a look at the Dodgers upcoming schedule of events:

일단 현지시간으로 목요일인 내일 (예정되로라면) 7이닝을 소화할 거라고 합니다. 하루 휴식을 취하고 인랜드 엠파이어로 내려가서 레이크 엘시노어(Lake Elsinore)원정을 한 경기 뛰고 인랜드의 홈으로 돌아옵니다. 엘시노어가 파즈 팜인걸로 아는데 공식홈피에 들어가보니 티켓판다는 얘기가 대문에 있더군요. 팬들은 분명 야유를 할꺼고 구단주는 매니로 인해 장사속 챙길꺼고....이율배반적인가요?ㅎㅎ
암튼 현지시간으로 일요일 ~ 화요일 사이에 인랜드 홈에서 마지막 리헵을 한 후 목요일 파즈로 와서 다저스와 조우한다고 합니다.

Eric Milton will be activated from the disabled list on Saturday to start against the Mariners.  I would imagine A.J. Ellis is the leading candidate to be sent down to make room on the roster for Milton.
저기 표에 나와있듯이 에릭 밀튼(Eric Milton)은 현지시간으로 이번주 토요일에 돌아오면 그날 시애틀 선발로 예정되어 있습니다. 아마도 밀튼의 자리를 위해 엘리스(A.J. Ellis)가 강등되겠죠. 두 번째 콜업인데 필드에조차 아직 나온적이 없네요.

Claudio Vargas began his rehabilitation assignment on June 2, and per terms of the collective bargaining agreement his assignment must last only 30 days.  That 30 days ends on July 1, so Vargas will need to be activated on July 2.  The club may also release Vargas or ask his consent to send him to the minors, but that seems unlikely.  Shaikin tells us, "Torre said Vargas would be used in the same way Jeff Weaver is, as a long reliever and spot starter."  Once Vargas is recalled, the likely candidates to be removed from the roster are James McDonald (likely), Cory Wade (slightly less likely), or Guillermo Mota (unlikely).
오프시즌에 가장 강력한 5선발 후보였던 클라우디오 바르가스(Claudio Vargas)가 돌아옵니다. 오프닝데이 전에 60일자 DL에 올랐고 그 기간은 7월 1일로 한정되어있다는군요. 해서 7월 2일에는 그를 로스터에 올려야하는데, 이게 또 고민인게 다저스는 그를 방출할지 아니면 그에게 동의를 구한 후 다시 마이너리거행을 시킬지라는군요.
토레는 만약 바르가스가 올라온다면 위버와 비슷한 스윙맨이나 스팟 선발의 임무가 주어질거라고 합니다. 그리고 그를 방출하지않고 바르가스가 마이너행을 거부할 경우에는 맥도날드 & 웨이드 & 모타가 그 자리를 비워줘야할 후보군이라고 합니다. 개인적인 생각이지만 맥도날드가 가장 강력한 후보가 아닐까 싶습니다. 2.35M이나 받는 모타를 어찌하진 못하겠죠. 아직 전반기다 보니....

Ohman out again

The Dodgers sent left-handed reliever Will Ohman back to Los Angeles for an MRI examination after he complained of elbow pain while pitching on a rehabilitation assignment at Albuquerque on Tuesday, Torre said.

The elbow injury is new. Ohman has been on the disabled list since May 30 because of a sore shoulder. He has a 5.84 earned-run average in 21 appearances this season.
오만(Will Ohman)이 돌아왔습니다. 25인로스터로 복귀함이 아닌 MRI촬영을 위해 LA로 복귀했습니다. 어깨가 갑자기 아프다네요-.-;;

Eric Stults, who started nine games before the Dodgers put him on the disabled list because of a thumb injury, is scheduled to start a rehabilitation assignment with Inland Empire on Thursday, Torre said.
에릭 스털츠(Eric Stults)의 부상이 오래가는군요. 괜히 무리하게 등판해서 병만 더 키운게 아닌가 하는 결과론적인 얘기만 하는데....이미 부상당했을때 본인 스스로 욕심이 너무 앞섰죠.
일단 내일 인랜드에서 리헵을 시작할거라고 합니다. 그러고 보니 인랜드의 마지막 경기의 선발이 에릭 밀튼이었는데 에릭형제들이 두 경기연속으로 등판하네요.
만약 스털츠의 내일 등판이 호의적이라면 5선발(에릭 형제)과 스윙맨(바르가스 & 위버)의 자리를 두고 고심해봐야겠군요.
